Semjén distillery

Our distillery is in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, part of the South Nyírség sub-region of Kállósemjén to find. Our company was established in the autumn of 2017 with the aim of providing high quality pálinka to the contract distillers who come to us with a homemade mash. Through the development of our distillery, we now have a trade license, and our products can be purchased in stores. We have set up our own bottling plant, so we do all the work ourselves from purchasing the fruit to mashing, distilling and bottling. All our pálinka are made by hand. Our farm has a traditional two-stage distillation plant with a 600-liter boiling container and a 370-liter refining container. We have also installed a new single-stage distillation plant with 450 liters capacity and a "Flavouring Tower".

Our pálinka contain the power of sunlight, the careful handwork of the farmer, all the flavours of the countryside and the heart and soul of the master brewer.

Made from selected fruit, our pálinka contain the true flavours of nature, giving the taster a guaranteed experience.

The fruit is sourced primarily from local and regional producers, in the best possible quality.

We know that the market niche in this segment is very narrow, so the only way to compete is to produce top quality, and we work hard to achieve this every day. Our work culture is not dominated by increasing the quantity of pálinka produced, but by striving for premium quality.

Our aim is not only to satisfy the needs of the contract distillers, but also to produce premium quality brandy from selected, limited quantities of quality fruit, taking advantage of the excellent fruit growing conditions in the county.

JACKDAW PREMIUM VODKA

Beyond the excellent fruit, we have also discovered the potential of grain spirits, and we have created the Jackdaw Premium brand to take advantage of their captivating decorative qualities.

Our vodkas are made using a special, unique filtration system. Using premium grain spirit, we filter it fifty times through a special custom filtration system on activated charcoal and silver colloid. The premium vodka is available in 6 different colours. Contact us with your individual request!

CONTRACT COOKING

We believe that the quality of pálinka depends 90% on the quality of the ingredients. Our years of experience and know-how help us to excellently separate the pre-distillate from the middle distillate and the middle distillate from the post-distillate. Our primary goal is to use only the right aroma components in the middle distillate to obtain a pure, no-frills fruit distillate of impeccable quality.

CUSTOMIZED FOR YOU

The soul of pálinka is the perfect ingredient. We only make mash from fruit that we would eat ourselves. The fruit must be clean, ripe and juicy. We seed the stone fruits in our own seeders. All fruit is chopped into a sufficiently pulpy pulp to make a mixable macerate that is easy to handle.

From plums to peaches, pears, grapes and dozens of other fruits, all the way to elderberries and apples, the flavour spectrum is endless.

The finished premium quality product is bottled and labelled according to your ideas. Custom-designed embossed metal labels in pewter and copper are made to your individual specifications.
